Hemp degumming services

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of hemp degumming services from Hemp Traders as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the services and the contractor being the single provider of the services. Contractor must have a practical understanding of fiber hemp production systems in California, experience and expertise with emerging green hemp decortication technology development and use, access to (or partners with access to) field equipment used for green decortication, commercial relationships and expertise in the degumming, carding, spinning, and weaving of hemp fiber into thread and textiles and expertise in the quality evaluation of hemp fiber-based textiles. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
