TOWN OF SCITUATE

INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Town of Scituate is looking for Heavy Equipment Rates for a variety of equipment and
manpower. All equipment will be required to meet the specifications set forth in the BID
package.
Sealed bids shall be received by the Town of Scituate, 600 Chief Justice Cushing Highway,
Town Administrator's Office, Scituate, MA 02066, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM
at which time and place they will be opened for the following:

The Town Administrator reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in part or in whole, as may be
determined to be in the best interest of the Town of Scituate. Prices quoted to be in effect from
the date of award until April 30, 2027.
Bids may not be withdrawn and will remain firm for thirty (30) days of bid opening, Saturday,
Sunday and Holidays excluded.
ALL PROPOSALS FOR THIS PROJECT ARE SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF
MASSACHUSTETTS GENERAL LAW C.30, S39M, AS MOST RECENTLY AMENDED.
ALL PROPOSALS MUST INCLUDE A BID BOND FOR $1000.00 PAYABLE TO THE
TOWN OF SCITUATE.
