The vendor shall provide a respiratory humidifier that is intended to provide heat and humidity to respiratory gases delivered to patients receiving invasive &/or non-invasive ventilation.
The units must have a color LCD touch screen to include the main, alarm and options screens.
The units will be servo controlled so that a constant temperature will be maintained and delivered to the patient. The units should have a standard temperature setting for invasive and non-invasive ventilation as well has high flow oxygen therapy.
The units will have high/low temperature, circuit disconnection, no water and check set-up audio and visual alarms. The unit will also have service alarms to include but are not limited to the following: heaterbase failure, heater plate thermal cutout triggered, gas flow outside of specification, chamber not inserted properly
Vendor will be responsible for all initial training and in-servicing of the units to the respiratory care staff. The vendor will also provide additional training as needed by the facility at no cost.
