Summary

The City of Norfolk (“City”) is seeking information from the Market to provide ready-to-eat meals to the Public Safety Precinct canteen, and other City departments, if needed, to improve healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.

Background

The City is seeking to improve nutritional health of academy recruits and police officers by offering balanced, macronutrient-friendly, meals in the canteen. Currently the City offers NPD a variety of snacks and drinks; however, many of the current options are high in sodium and/or sugar and are highly processed.
