Annual verification of BSL-3 facility per the requirements listed in Biosafety in Microbiological and Biomedical Laboratories (6th Edition), Section IV, Biosafety Level 3, D, Laboratory Facilities (Secondary Barriers).


Recommission the BSL-3 HVAC on an annual basis. This service must be provided in the twelfth month since the previous commissioning unless specified by the Houston Health Department Bureau of Laboratory Services (HHD-BLS).
