Hazardous Waste Removal

Suffolk County Community College requires the services of a reliable, experienced, reputable, licensed and qualified Contractor to provide services in connection with the safe removal of chemical and hazardous waste, and proper disposal in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. This includes, but is not limited to the handling and removal of highly reactive and unstable compounds as well as compressed gas cylinders. In addition, Contractor may be requested to remove other chemicals such as pesticides, cyanide, etc., or hazardous waste contaminated small laboratory equipment or supplies such as test tube heaters, mercury containing thermometers, etc. Materials classified as radioactive by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency are excluded under this contract.
