REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
2026 - 2027 HAWTHORNE MEMORIAL POOL CONCESSION
FOR THE BOROUGH OF HAWTHORNE
Pursuant to the fair and open process (NJSA 19:44-20.A), and in accordance with the New Jersey
Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.), the Borough of Hawthorne is requesting
proposals for:
2026 Operation of the Food Concession at the Hawthorne Memorial Pool
Specifications and instructions may be obtained at the Borough Administrator's office, Hawthorne
Municipal Building, 445 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, New Jersey or via email at
jscully@hawthornenj.org beginning Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Sealed RFP/RFQ responses will be received by the Borough Clerk on Wednesday, April 29, 2026
at 11:00 a.m. in the Court Room, Hawthorne Municipal Building, 445 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne,
NJ 07506, at which time and place responses will be opened for:
2026 Operation of the Food Concession at the Hawthorne Memorial Pool
All questions regarding the Request for Proposals should be made in writing to Borough
Administrator, Vincent Caruso, 445 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ 07506, or via email at
vcaruso@hawthornenj.org. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.
10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
