|
The work to be performed under this contract includes the replacement of the hockey board system at Hawthorneâs municipal hockey rink. This contract includes only the installation of the hockey dasher boards; furnishing of the hockey board materials shall be procured directly by the Owner and the materials shall be provided to the Contractor in a timely manner. The scope of work also includes the demolition of the existing boards and construction of a concrete edge curb footing, where needed, along with all other ancillaries and associated work required for a complete installation.

Qualifications:

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended. All corporations and partnerships and limited liability companies must comply with N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, regarding disclosure of partners and stockholders. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, addressed to the Owner and labeled for the HAWTHORNE HOCKEY BOARD REPLACEMENT.

Special Requirements:
|
|
The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed by August 29, 2025. No work shall begin on-site until July 1, 2025, unless otherwise authorized in writing by the Owner. Areas of the park facility outside of the hockey rink construction limits shall remain open to the public. The Contractor is responsible for securing the project limits throughout the duration of construction.
