Sealed bids for the project described below will be received by the City of Hattiesburg (herein called “City” or the “Owner”) until 10:00 AM local time, Thursday, December 4th, 2025. Bids received after the stated time will be returned unopened.

The work is generally described as follows:

Base Bid: Construction of new taxilanes for future hangar development within the airport. Work includes construction of asphalt taxilanes with necessary utilities such as water, sewer, and drainage improvements.

Additive Bid Alternate No. 1: Alternate bid includes replacing the asphalt paving section in the Base Bid with a concrete paving section for the taxilanes.

The contract time is 150 calendar days for the Base Bid with no additional time for Alternate No. 1 subject to the restrictions shown in the phasing schedule. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each calendar day thereafter as shown in the Contract Documents.

A pre-bid conference is planned for this project on Thursday, November 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Terminal Building at the Hattiesburg Bobby L Chain Municipal Airport, 29 Academy Dr, Hattiesburg, MS 39401. It is strongly recommended that prospective bidders attend the pre-bid conference. A site visit will take place immediately following the pre-bid conference.
