Synopsis:

Additional Information:

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Hatfield/Lafleche Mobile Positions, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

The Contractor shall supply all labour, material, equipment, tools and supervision necessary to complete the following Work, at two separate locations, Hatfield Substation and Lafleche Substation, as specified in this Specification and on the Contract Drawings:

Site Preparation
Grounding
Demolition

The following general scope applies at the Hatfield Substation:

SaskPower requires the development of a mobile transformer bay to support operations and maintenance activities, including earthwork, the installation/modification of a below-grade grounding grid, above-grade grounding bollards, and demolition/removal of the existing concrete foundations.

The Contractor shall also be responsible for all Site preparation remediation during and after construction, including the supply and installation of topsoil and the application of an approved seed mix via hydroseed.
