Meridian Township is requesting proposals for the installation of 1,138 ft of 8-inch water main in the Haslett Commerce Center at Haslett and Marsh Road.

Bids are solicited on a unit price basis.  The work involves the following major bid items:

  • Installation of 1,138 feet of 8-inch water main
  • 280 Tons of HMA Pavement

Proposals shall include the furnishing of all labor, material, and some equipment to complete the project.

Proposals are due Friday, July 17, 2026, by 11:00 am.

Work on the project must commence within 10 (ten) days of issuance of the “Notice To Proceed.” Construction for the 2026 option shall be completed by November 1, 2026. Construction for the 2027 option may commence at any time after April 1, 2027, with completion no later than July 15, 2027. Completion is defined as being constructed, tested, placed in service, and the site restored.
