Harry Street Rehabilitation

Project Description: The Borough of Conshohocken is performing roadway rehabilitation along Harry Street between 8th Avenue and 11th Avenue. A portion of the funding for this project will be provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development (DCED) Multimodal Transportation (MTF) Grant Program. The project will consist of the re-grading of the intersections of Harry Street and 9th, 10th, and 11th Avenues. The scope of construction items includes roadway resurfacing and intersection drainage improvements along Harry Street, the removal of subsurface drainage pipes and their replacement with asphalt swales to convey water through the intersections, which will include the full depth reconstruction of the intersections. The project also includes construction of new ADA compliant curb ramps, pavement mill and overlay resurfacing, asphalt pavement base repairs, installation of new pavement markings, and incidental restorations. The work also includes mobilization, maintenance and protection of traffic and erosion and sediment controls, as necessary to perform the work.
