Description

This Notice of Intent to award a sole source purchase order to L3Harris for the PRC-163 Radio. The PRC-163 radio is approved by the National Security Agency's (NSA) requirement to function on the US military's secure voice and data communications network that are compatible with existing SATCOM infrastructure and encryption methods currently utilized at Yokota AB. L3Harris is the only manufacturer of PRC-163 radio.



This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 31 March 2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above.
