| Description: | The project is briefly described as follows: In general, the improvements on which bids are requested will require the excavation of 1886.15 cubic yards and the placement in embankment of 2,607.85 cubic yards. This will require the contractor to haul in 721.70 cubic yards from the City of Beatrice stockpile located within 3 miles of the project site. It requires the installation of 488.5 square yards of 4-inch concrete sidewalk, 236.7 square yards of 6-inch concrete pavement, 140 linear feet of 8-inch X 18-inch concrete steel reinforced walls; placement of 123.4 cubic yards of In-Field Ag Lime base and 162.90 In-Field RBDA surfacing, and other incidentals as indicated in the Contract Documents. |
