2026 Hanna Park Culvert Project

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 31st Street Sidewalk Extension Project, shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Marion, Iowa, prior to 10:00 AM local time on the 10h day of March, 2026, for work in accordance with the plans and specifications now on file in the office of the City Clerk. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above time in at, City Hall, 1225 6th Avenue, Marion, Iowa.

The general nature of the work on which bids are requested is: Removing existing trail and installing a 5’x12’ box culvert with 8’ wide PCC trail, also removing and replacing sanitary sewer pipe adjacent to the culvert. Work includes 300 SY of modified subbase, 60 LF sanitary sewer gravity main, 14 LF of 5’x12’ concrete box culvert, 245 SY of 6” PCC Sidewalk, 450 tons of type E riprap, and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents.
