CITY HALL HALLWAY FLOORING REPLACEMENT
CITY OF MARION, SC - REQUEST FOR WRITTEN QUOTES
The City of Marion is accepting written quotes for the replacement of flooring in the
hallways at Marion City Hall, located at 107 S. Main Street in Marion. Written quotes
must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Marion City
Hall, 107 S. Main Street, P.O. Box 1190, Marion, SC 29571.

The City of Marion reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, waive informalities,
and accept the quote determined to be in the best interest of the City. This request
for quotes does not obligate the City to award a contract.
Contractor shall provide proof of South Carolina licensing, Workers' Compensation
Insurance, and General Liability Insurance. All work shall comply with applicable
South Carolina Building Code requirements and all federal, state, and local laws and

SCOPE OF WORK
It is the contractor's responsibility to verify all measurements and existing site
conditions prior to submitting a quote. The quote shall include all labor, materials,
equipment, adhesives, transitions, trim, removal and disposal of existing flooring,
floor preparation, cleanup, and any other incidental items necessary to provide a
complete, finished installation.
Flooring Specification:
* Install Fleetwood 2665V Prairie Oak 7391 Rustic Oak luxury vinyl plank flooring
or an approved equivalent.
* If proposing an equivalent product, the contractor must include the following
with the quote:
o Manufacturer's name
o Product/model number
o Complete product specifications and technical data demonstrating
equivalency
* The City reserves the sole right to determine whether an alternate product is
equal in quality, appearance, durability, and performance.
Approximate Quantities:
* 1,652 square feet of vinyl plank flooring
* 600 linear feet of quarter round
* 25 doorway reducers/transitions
