Request Description

Description:	This Project consists of Design of approximately 4,000 Linear Feet of the Haikey Creek Trunk Sewer Line located East of S Garnett Road from approximately 1,410 feet North of W Florence Street to just North of New Orleans St. The existing section of the Trunk Sewer Line is composed of 48” and 36" Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) and Concrete Manholes. This line has had several issues and has started deteriorating due to age and material, causing leaks, sinkholes, and problems with Inflow and Infiltration. To remedy these issues, BAMA has proposed to rehabilitate this Trunk Sewer Line and associated Manholes. The selected Consultant will need to determine an appropriate material and method of installation for the Trunk sewer to ensure it will be able to handle current load capacities and maintain flow and produce design plans for construction to address these issues.
