This is a request for information (RFI) only. The EPA makes no guarantee that a solicitation or award will result from this RFI. The purpose of this RFI is for market research purposes only.
EPA is seeking information from vendors that can sell engine test cell hardware, software, and services to include:
• A partial-flow dilution particulate sampling system that complies with the requirements of 40CFR1065, delivered to and installed at the US EPA’s National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
• Heated sample probe for sample collection from the engine test site’s full flow CVS dilution tunnel.
• HEPA filtration for secondary dilution air.
• Ability to use 47mm diameter high-efficiency PTFE membrane filters for sample collection.
• Installation and tuning of a PID controller for the engine test site’s tailpipe pressure control blower.
• Integration with the engine test site’s Horiba STARS host automation system for control and data logging.
This RFI is trying to identify SMALL BUSINESSES!
This Sources Sought is seeking authorized American products that meets or exceeds the above specifications to replace a current obsolete system.
We encourage all vendors (large or small, USA or foreign made) that can offer products that meet the above requirements to reply with any technical specifications and/or material. Pricing is not required at this time.
