This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Part 12 - as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This synopsis shall be posted on both SAM and NECO-https://www.neco.navy.mil.
The proposed contract action is for commercial services in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Evoqua Water Technologies (EWT); Cage Code: 4WJX0, IAW FAR 13.106(b)(1).
The proposed acquisition will provide necessary labor, equipment and supplies to maintain services for the Deionization Unit at NAVY DRUG SCREENING LABORATORY (NDSLJAX) at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL. The NAICS Code is 811210 and the Small Business Standard is H949. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05 are incorporated. It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at: https://www.acquisition.gov/.
All preventative maintenance and service shall be performed monthly or as required for water system VROL004AX serial number 065862-02.
The monthly service schedule will include the following:
Tank, mixed bed type 1, 1.2CF change out; Tank, carbon 1.2 CF change out; 50 pound bag of salt- up to 7 bags per month; Cart 10 lUM No Surfactant; Cart 10 0.2UM CDE 10 ASYM Polysul, Frequency at 180 days; Membrane Reverse Osmosis (RO) Filmtec TW30-2, Frequency as required.
Proposals are not being accepted in response to this document. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, BUMED/FM and C Directorate intends to acquire on a sole source basis service via Firm Fixed Price contract. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to future similar requirements; however, this notice is not intended to be a request for competitive quotations from any source. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on response received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
