DESCRIPTION
This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following services for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem VA 24153:
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Salem VA Medical Center is seeking potential sources capable of providing an accredited clinical lab to perform the analysis, incubation, and reporting results of compounding personnel competencies and environmental testing done in the sterile compounding areas. Those tests are required to comply with USP 2023 version standards and VHA Directive 1108.12, Management and monitoring of pharmaceutical compounded preparations dated February 14, 2024. Currently, Salem VAHCS clinical lab does not have International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025 certifications to perform those testing and 90% of VHA facilities send this testing to a certified lab external to their facility. The contract will be for a Base plus 4 Option Years Contract.

The NAICS 541380 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $19.0 Million.
Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors will be required to be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
