Isle of Wight County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified firms to establish a contract through competitive sealed bidding for Gwaltney Way Street Trees .
This is for the purchase and planting of 96 street trees (Acer Rubrum/Autumn Flame - Red Maple.) This work shall be done in accordance with the approved road plans and VDOT spec. section 605 “Planting” found in attachments. This project requires performance bonding, a one-year warranty and water and weeding for up to 6 months after planting.
Background
This landscaping project is part of a road extension nearing completion within Shirley T. Holland Intermodal Park.
