• Description: DANY staff will review key elements of the 2025 Gun Violence Prevention Initiative RFP and facilitate a question and answer session.

In addition to the virtual information session, DANY will respond to written questions regarding the 2025 Gun Violence Prevention Initiative RFP. Questions must be submitted by Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Questions submitted after December 17th will not receive a response. Answers to questions received will be made available as an addendum to this RFP on or about December 20th, 2024.

Description

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office (DANY or Department) has committed to investing funds through its Criminal Justice Investment Initiative (CJII) to support projects that improve public safety and fairness in the New York City criminal justice system. DANY invites proposals from qualified community-based organizations (CBOs) and other entities for two types of gun violence prevention awards:



1. Solo Entity Initiatives: $25,000

2. Joint Initiatives: $60,000
