939546 Guards and Guardrail Components Supply and Installation Services

The City of Edmonton (the City) invites bidders to submit bids for Guards and Guardrail Components Supply and Installation Services. The Form of Agreement, located in the Form of Agreement Section in the SAP Ariba Platform, defines the Work the successful bidder will perform.

Intended term of Contract: one (1) year, commencing November 1, 2026. In its sole discretion, the City may extend the Term on the same terms and conditions for up to four (4) additional years.

The City intends to enter into the Contract with only one bidder.

The City will only accept bids submitted through the SAP Ariba platform. The City will not accept bids submitted using any other mechanism, including but not limited to, post, courier, fax, e-mail, or orally, unless specifically requested by the City. Bids submitted through means other than the SAP Ariba platform, except as specifically allowed by the City, will not be accepted by the City.

The bidder agrees to submit bids only through the SAP Ariba platform and not to submit bids via any other mechanism including, but not limited to, post, courier, fax, e-mail, or orally, unless specifically requested by the City. This bidders conference is optional and will not impact bid acceptance. The City will not be responsible for communicating information discussed at the bidders conference to bidders who fail to attend. Notwithstanding that the City may provide oral answers to questions at the bidders conference, those answers are not considered final unless added to the Sourcing Event as addenda. No statement, consent, waiver, acceptance, approval, amendment or anything else said or done in the bidders conference by the City or any of its advisors, employees or representatives is binding on the City and cannot be relied upon in any way by bidders except when and only to the extent expressly confirmed in writing via addenda.
