GUARDRAILS AND POSTS AT MAPLE AVENUE RECREATION AREA

The Town of Shrewsbury is seeking written quotes from qualified contractors for the purchase and installation of wooden pressure treated guardrails and posts at the Maple Avenue Recreation Area located at 150 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury, MA. All contractors must submit quotes in conformance with this solicitation and the scope of work statement which shall be available online at https://shrewsburyma.gov/bids and also in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury (phone: 508-841-8508). Town Offices are open Mon, Wed, Thu 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Tue 8:00 AM-6:30 PM; and Fri 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.

Contractor shall provide and install 455 feet of 4 inch x10 inch x16 feet wooden pressure treated guardrails along with 6 inch x 8 inch wooden pressure treated posts spaced at 8 feet and the proper galvanized bolts, washers, and nuts.

The work required shall begin within 30 days of execution of the awarded contract and shall be completed within 90 days after the start date.

Quote Prices shall not exceed $25,000.

This request for quotes shall be governed by MGL ch. 30, sec. 39M.
