GTC Kit Material

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Philadelphia, PA, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Blanket Order Agreement (BOA) order to provide from General Electric (GE), LM2500 Gas Turbine Change (GTC) kit materials. The proposed order is for twenty (20) Insulation, Thermal PN L31902P02, thirty (30) Insulation, Thermal PN L31902P03, ten (10) Insulation, Thermal PN L31902P04, ten (10) Insulation, Thermal PN L31902P07, one hundred sixty (160) Retainer, Insulation PN L31903P01, ten (10) Insulation, Blanket PN L31907P01; ten (10) Insulation, Blanket PN L31909P02, eight (8) Brackets PN L24396P001A, sixteen (16) Tube, HPT Cooling Lower PN L51374G08, sixteen (16) Tube, HPT Cooling Upper PN L51375G08, eight (8) Tube, Oil PN L51317G01, and sixteen (16) Nozzle, Ejector – Seal Pressure, Sump PN L42841G02.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements,” as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1.

Interested parties, however; may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The applicable North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 333611 with a size standard of 1500. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this effort is 2835 – Gas Turbines and Jet Engines; Non-Aircraft Prime Mover, Aircraft Non-Prime Mover, and Components.
