Group Solar PV Installation Services

Project Description: The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit business information and pricing proposals from solar photovoltaic (PV) installers (“Installers”) who would like to provide their services to participants of Solarize Louisville, a “solarize” group buying program for residents, small businesses, and institutions such as places of worship and nonprofits in the greater Louisville region to install solar and energy storage on their property. Louisville Metro’s Mayors Office of Sustainability (“Louisville Metro”), who is managing the program, and the selection committee will evaluate proposals based on the listed evaluation criteria in order to select a single solar PV Installer or multiple Installers (“Selected Installer(s)”) for Solarize Louisville. The Selected Installer(s) will collaborate with Solarize Louisville on marketing and outreach and will deliver cost-competitive solar installations to this group of homes, institutions, small businesses, or places of worship within the Louisville Metro Metropolitan Statistical Area (“MSA”), including Jefferson, Oldham, Spencer, Shelby, and Bullitt counties in Kentucky and Harrison, Floyd, and Clark counties in Indiana.
