Gregory Lane (Phase 2) Tredyffrin Township/ Jenkins Arboretum Stormwater Improvement Partnership Project - Engineering Dept. Project #: 2026-01

Project Description: Tredyffrin Township will receive bids from qualified contractors for the Gregory Lane (Phase 2) - Tredyffrin Township/Jenkins Arboretum Stormwater Improvement Partnership Project - Engineering Dept. Project #: 2026-01. The project consists of, but is not limited to, the excavation and removal of grass lawn and brush area, installation of modified Bio-Retention soil mix, installation of one (1) Bio-Retention Stormwater Control Measure, a river rock channel underlain with geotextile, and regrading/stabilization within the defined areas on the plans. Work also includes the following: excavation, turf matting/erosion control blanket installation, seeding/landscape restoration, as well as erosion and sediment controls, and potential installation of a stabilized plastic ring-system surface area.
Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ Program until 11:00 AM, Monday, August 3, 2026, when the sealed bids will be publicly opened. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). The Township Board of Supervisors (BOS) will award bids, within 60 days of the date of bid opening, at either the August 17, 2026, or September 21, 2026, regular Board Meeting.
The pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Tredyffrin Township Building, 1100 Duportail Road, Berwyn, PA. Questions must be submitted via PennBid by Monday July 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Township reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all of the bids, or any parts of any bids. All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders.
