GREENVILLE COUNTY ELECTRONIC MONITORING AND INMATE SUPERVISION SERVICES

The County of Greenville is requesting proposals from vendors to provide Electronic Monitoring and Inmate Supervision Services.

There are currently 839 offenders enrolled in the Electronic Monitoring Program. The following are the types of offenders enrolled in the program:

A. Pre-trial offenders meeting the required criteria for placement,
B. Pre-trial offenders ordered by the Court as a condition of bond,
C. Individuals serving a sentence as ordered by the Court.

These individuals are ordered to the program by both High and Low courts and have traditionally been monitored using Radio Frequency, Active and Passive GPS and alcohol monitoring equipment. Greenville County has recently transitioned away from the use of Radio Frequency Equipment and has implemented GPS monitoring for that population of offenders.
