NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Greene County,
Ohio, 35 Greene Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385, until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2026, for the
Greene County Water Plant Headworks Project No. 2505WA, for the Greene County Sanitary
Engineering Department. At such time the bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids shall be
submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. This legal
advertisement is also published on the Greene County Board of County Commissioners website,
http://www.greenecountyohio.gov/bids.aspx.
This project includes the installation and connection of approximately 100 linear feet of
fully restrained 16-inch ductile iron piping, pipe fittings, aluminum wrapping and insulation, an
inline flow meter, a 16-inch butterfly valve, an 8-inch pressure relief valve, and a 2-inch air
vacuum release valve assembly to the existing raw water system of Greene County Sanitary
Engineering Department. The project is located in the City of Beavercreek, Greene County, Ohio.
Copies of the Plans and Specifications, the estimated quantities of the items of work, the
proposal and contract forms can be downloaded at the Bid Express website
https://www.bidexpress.com/solicitations and are on file in the Greene County Sanitary
Engineering Department, 667 Dayton-Xenia Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385.
A non-mandatory Prebid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026,
at 1122 Beaver Valley Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45434.
ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE – $325,000

or if submitted via hard copy the Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as “Greene
County Water Plant Headworks Project No. 2505WA” and must have full name and address of the
Bidder on the envelope.
The Board of County Commissioners reserve the rights defined in the Instructions to
Bidders, including, but not limited to the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any
irregularities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County.
