Description:

It is the intent of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, Division of Industries, to establish a contract to procure Green Work Pants. Detailed specifications are included in this advertisement.

Fabric specifications:

Fiber content	65% polyester, 35% cotton
Weight, square yard	7.5-8.0 oz. per square yard
Weave	2/1 twist TWILL (or similar)
Breaking strength	Warp: 189 min, Fill 115 min.
Threads per square inch	Warp: 80 Fill: 40 minimum
Shrinkage	3% maximum
Color fastness	Fade: class 4, Laundering: class 3
Stain resistance	Dacron/cotton test: class 3
Soil release	Grade 3 or higher

PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS

SHIPPING

Shipments are to be palletized, on 48” x 40” four-way hardwood GMA reusable pallets. Pallets are to be adequately secured to prevent movement during transport.
