Great Bridge Middle School Roof Replacement

Prior to beginning the roof retrofit project, the contractor will contract Tremco to preform two (2) infrared roof surveys. One (1) will be conducted prior to roof work beginning to confirm the location and extent of the wet insulation shown in the drawings. If the survey shows additional wet insulation to that shown on the drawings, those new areas will be repaired (including demolition and new work) like areas currently indicated as having wet insulation in the project. The second survey will be conducted after Substantial Completion of the roof to confirm all areas of the roof insulation are dry. In addition to any other closeout and punch list requirements, any areas found to contain wet insulation will be repaired by the contractor.

Roof Retrofit using a Ketone Ethlyene Ester (KEE) roofing system over gypsum cover board. The assembly will be installed over the existing roof.

Roof replacement using a Ketone Ethlyene Ester (KEE) roofing system over gypsum cover board and rigid insulation. The assembly will be installed over the existing metal roof deck.

Roof drain piping support directly adjacent to new and existing roof drains.

The Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
