2026 Gravel Haul Tender

Sealed Tenders in an envelope clearly marked “GRAVEL HAUL TENDER” will be received by the R.M. of Big River No. 555 on or before 4:00 p.m. CST Friday, April 10, 2026, for loading and hauling up to 10,000 cubic yards of traffic gravel onto municipal roads within the R.M., under the following Terms and Conditions:

• The Contractor shall supply loader, trucks, trailers, fuel, labour, and all other equipment or tools to complete the contract.
• The R.M. will supply to the successful bidder, gravel to complete the haul, a map, and a schedule of quantities.
• Gravel shall be hauled from the R.M. Stockpile located at NE 35-56-09 W3.
• No full-length clam dump trailers shall be permitted in the haul.
• Tandem loads shall be limited to specific requests by the municipality or in circumstances where a belly dump cannot access.
• Haul shall commence on or around June 1, 2026, and be completed by August 15, 2026.
• The Contractor shall be able to haul additional loads, as required by the R.M., sporadically during the year, after August 15, on short notice.
• The Contractor shall coordinate haul with R.M. Foreman. Any changes to the map, quantities or source of gravel, shall be approved by the R.M. Foreman.
