LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Borough of
Hillsdale, County of Bergen, New Jersey shall receive sealed proposals at the
Borough Hall, 380 Hillsdale Avenue, Hillsdale, New Jersey, until 11:00 A.M.,
prevailing time, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and then publicly opened and read
aloud in the Council Chambers,
“LANDSCAPING ON BOROUGH OWNED PROPERTY”
Copies of the specifications and contract documents for the proposed
work are on file and open to public inspection or may be obtained at the
Borough Clerk’s Office, 380 Hillsdale Avenue, Hillsdale, New Jersey between the
hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays
or by emailing the Borough Clerk, Denise Kohan at dkohan@hillsdalenj.org.
Each proposal must be made upon the prescribed forms furnished with the
contract specifications. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the
form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Money Order or Cashier’s Check in the
amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said check or
bond need not be more than $20,000.00.
Each proposal must
be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder
and shall be addressed to
the BOROUGH CLERK delivered
at the place and hour mentioned above.
Envelope or Package must be clearly endorsed
with the contract name “LANDSCAPING ON
BOROUGH OWNED PROPERTY”
Sealed proposals are being solicited in
accordance with the Local Public Bidding Law and Bidders are required to comply
with the requirements of
N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and
N.J.A
.C. 17:27-1 et
seq.
The
Request
for Bids documents may be obtained from the Borough Clerk's Office during the
hours of Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
or by emailing the Borough Clerk, Denise Kohan at
dkohan@hillsdalenj.org
.
The
Governing Body reserves its right to reject all submissions and/or award any or
all contracts to a qualified vendor through this public bid process in
accordance with law.
