Grant Enterprise Management Solution (GEMS)

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) to request feedback on vendor capabilities as it pertains to funding and workflow management platforms that could support the Grant Enterprise Management Solution (GEMS). This is RFI is for Market Research purposes and will not be scored.
CDPH is interested in a broad range of solutions that support the full grant-maker process, including contract administration, tracking of incoming funds from diverse sources, and generation of reliable reports.
The platform must also support fund balance tracking and provide data outputs suitable for reconciliation in the State¿s financial system of record. While the platform will not necessarily serve as a financial management or accounting system of record, it may require integration or data exchange with external systems to support reporting and oversight.
This RFI is intended solely for market research purposes in alignment with the California Department of Technology¿s Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) Stage 2 Alternatives Analysis. It will not be scored, does not constitute a solicitation, and will not result in a contract.
