Grand Avenue Homeownership Rehabilitation Project

The City of New Haven is seeking proposals from qualified Bidders (General Contractor) for the redevelopment of 342, 346 and 350 Grand Avenue, New Haven, CT. The Bidder is responsible for including but not limited to: construction and maintenance, project timeline and providing a completed project to be turned over at one time. The structures are (3) BROWNSTONE STYLE HOUSES converting into 2-FAMILY STRUCTURES (1 ^ST FLOOR RENTAL and 2 ^ND/ 3 ^RD FLOOR COMBO UNIT) to be sold to homeowner.

1. Residential rehabilitation of existing historic structures
2. Noise attenuation measures must be undertaken during construction to minimize the impact in surrounding area.
3. All renovations must be completed within 18 months from the execution of the construction agreement.
4. The selected general contractor is not responsible for the ultimate sale of these completed properties, unless separately negotiated and agreed upon by the City of New Haven.
