Project Description: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to facilitate public outreach and stakeholder engagement activities, and to provide a professionally revised and final draft of the Government Peak Recreation Area (GPRA) Management Plan. GPRA is a non-motorized recreation area that supports Nordic skiing, mountain biking, hiking, equestrian use, and related outdoor activities. The current draft of the management plan outlines goals for high-quality recreational opportunities, user conflict minimization, maintenance, and community involvement.
