GIS Consultant

The Town of South Hadley seeks a qualified professional to provide technical assistance to the Town regarding the implementation and use of GIS software for community planning and data management needs. The Town currently maintains individual ArcGIS desktop licenses for the Planning and Conservation Department staff and requires assistance migrating to ArcGIS Pro and implementing full useability for staff.

In addition to ArcGIS Pro software migration, the consultant will provide training to up to five (5) Town staff with basic competency in ArcGIS in the use of the ArcGIS Pro platform for the creation of maps, basic data analysis, and the use of LIDAR datasets as available from MassGIS.

Responses to this request for price proposals are due Thursday, April 30, 2026. The available funding for these services is not to exceed $10,000.

Minimum Requirements

• Software migration to be completed by June 30, 3036
• ArcGIS Pro software training for staff must be completed by September 30, 2026
• Contractor must demonstrate experience teaching ArcGIS Pro
• Contractor must demonstrate implementation of ArcGIS Pro software and useability for organizational use
