6973GH-25-R-00180 - NAS ACI LASER 2D BARCODE PRINTERS – Notice of Intent to Single Source

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to negotiate a contract on a single source basis to Codesource, L.P., Denton, Texas, for the acquisition of ACI LASER 2D BARCODE PRINTERS. Codesource is the proprietary owner of the software used for the particular acquisition.

In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System Paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. Codesource, L.P. owns all proprietary data rights and proprietary information necessary to support the assets needed for hardware, installation, and training to be performed by Codesource, L.P.

A market survey (6973GH-25-RFI-00012) was posted on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website on May 19, 2025, and closed on May 28, 2025. Response to the market survey supports the single source to Codesource.

The proposed principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 339940 - Office Supplies (except Paper) Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 750.
