Notice is hereby given that Philadelphia Gas Works (“PGW”) will receive sealed proposals on or before April 15, 2025, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, via pgw.procureware.com, for a vendor to provide a geothermal site survey and feasibility study for the following locations:

1. John F. McCloskey Elementary School and Dorothy Emanuel Recreation Center in Philadelphia, PA (primary networked site).
2. Lankenau High School in Philadelphia, PA (secondary site, to be evaluated only if deemed necessary).

The purpose of this RFP is to obtain a detailed site survey and feasibility study to determine the technical and economic viability of implementing a shared geothermal heating and cooling system at the networked primary site. If the McCloskey Elementary and Dorothy Emanuel Recreation Center site survey demonstrates feasibility, the evaluation of the secondary site at Lankenau High School shall not proceed.

This document outlines PGW’s objectives, describes the general characteristics of the services to be provided, and (without being exhaustive) outlines the principal obligations of PGW and the selected Proposer.
