Summary

The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the Generators Installation at Three (3) Fire Stations project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to, the supervision and labor for the site work, electrical, plumbing, associated materials (including ATS and generators) per the project plans and specifications

All work associated with the provision and installation of the natural gas generators will be the responsibility of the contractor selected for the project.

Background

The fire stations must have continuous electrical service in the event of a power outage at the station. This is vital to the emergency notification systems at the station and emergency responses to the general public.
