Generator and Transfer Switch MGADM MA

Purpose of Solicitation: Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences at 525 Carter Hill Road Montgomery, AL 36106 Lab is requesting a 5-year Master Agreement

This service will be for the period of award through September 30, 2031, and will need to be renewed annually and there should be no price updates on this multi-year Master Agreement.

**Major annual (once per calendar year in June of each year) inspection/preventative maintenance to be performed on the emergency generator and automatic transfer switch at 525 Carter Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36106.

This service was performed in June of 2026 next service will be June 2027 all test and services will be needed in June.

The price should include any samples taken for analysis (coolant & oil) and any commonly replaced items that are replaced on an annual basis, such as, oil, lube, etc. (as needed) as well as any fees associated with this service.
PLEASE PROVIDE ONE PRICE FOR THE ANNUAL SERVICING: ANNUAL PM ON GENERATOR AND ATS (THERMOGRAPHY SCAN) IN ONE PRICE.
The standard generator annual PM must include, at a minimum, the following:
*All the tests and inspections on a comprehensive checklist
*Take and analyze fluid samples: engine lube and coolant
*Change the engine lube and filters
*Provide a comprehensive PM Inspection Report, to include receiving a copy of the fluid analysis reports from the lab.
*When repairs are recommended, quote the repairs needed and get approval prior to doing the additional work.
The ATS inspection must include, at a minimum, the following:
*Thermography scan/test
*Test Controls functions
*Visually inspect and infrared inspect the switch components
*Clean all that is safe to do so
The ATS inspection should be performed while on site for scheduled service.
