| Description: | The City of Crystal Lake is requesting proposals from qualified licensed electrical contracting companies to provide on-call electrical services for the Public Works Departments buildings and facilities. The Contractor will provide scheduled and emergency electrical repairs, upgrades, installations and replacements for components and infrastructure on an as-needed basis during the term of the contract period. Per mutual accord, the Contractor will provide scheduled and emergency electrical services at other sites for the City at the request of the Director of Public Works or his designee. The City will assign tasks on a work order basis using the time and material rates as bid by the contractor. Work order proposals shall include all labor, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to accomplish all electrical work. | |
| Additional Description: | The initial contract term shall be 13 months from November 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, with up to three optional one-year extensions. Optional Year pricing will increase each year according to the Chicago-Naperville-Elgin, IL-IN-WI CPI All Items Index 12‑month percentage change, not seasonally adjusted, for August of the previous calendar year as reported in September by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. If CPI data for August is not released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Optional Year pricing will instead increase according to the same CPI index and calculation for the next sequential month for which data is available. |
