Project Description: Barnstable County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for a major exterior renovation of the historic Superior Courthouse originally constructed in 1832, located at 3195 Main Street, Barnstable Village. The project will include exterior façade updates to the original Quincy granite, wood columns, cornice, windows and trim, and includes some structural work to the brick arches in the interior basement. No major renovations have been made to the Superior Courthouse since the last addition of 1972.
