General Contractor - Lancaster County Regional Park

Lancaster County is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to receive qualifications from experienced General Contractors for the delivery of all necessary construction, materials, labor, equipment, professional services and overall full range of construction services to support the implementation of the “Lancaster County Regional Park” project. General Contractors are invited to submit Qualifications to support the knowledge and capacity of a large scale construction project.

The project information included in this RFQ Submittal is preliminary in nature. There is no work guaranteed as a result of being shortlisted or top-ranked through this solicitation. Any and all subcontractors shall be approved by the County.

Design of the project has been completed by Woolpert Architectural Firm. The prequalification is due to the scope, size, and complexity, the need to adhere to a specific timeline, and to confine work to designated areas. Only qualified contractors, subcontractors, and supervisory personnel with significant experience and the capacity to finish the work on schedule should submit their qualifications for this project. Respondents must have considerable experience coordinating and working alongside multiple trades and subcontractors within a confined site and a regimented construction schedule. The General Contractor will be responsible for coordinating all trades and sub-contractors to facilitate project to completion. All general contractors must meet Lancaster County insurance and bonding requirements as listed below. This project is anticipated to be released for bid February 2026 to the top ranked respondents of this RFQ with complete construction documents, specifications, bidding forms, and general contract requirements. Construction is expected to be completed by April 1, 2027.
