Answer Our intent is to award to one contractor, although depending on overall cost we may look at different options.

Question
Can the 120 day timeframe be adjusted to commence at permit issuance rather than contract execution date.

Can the architect / owner submit for the permit now in order to expedite the review process?
Answer
The time starts after the permit is issued. We must first review the bids in order to know what we will be applying for, depending on cost will be relative to the amount of review for the permit and also the cost of the permit.

So, the time frame maybe adjusted due to a documented supply delivery issue.

Question
As discussed during the pre-bid walkthrough, the city has requested line item values be entered for each scope (almost 60 lines). This will be nearly impossible to do at the time of the bid. Can this breakout be submitted within 24 hours or at a later date/time? The base bid as well as alternates (Options) can be filled out at the time of the bid, with the line item value to follow.
Answer Addendum has been issued for this.

modify or interpret the specification document by addition, deletion, clarification or correction. Vendor
must acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided at time of bid submission.
Be advised of the following clarifications and changes to the Specification and bidding documents:
Thanks for the breakdown grace.
Looking at the bid for, I don’t see the ability to enter any base bid now.
There is no box on line 1, 2, or 3 to enter any numbers into.
The second page has 4-8 with “response boxes.”
Lastly, I am having sever people grumbling about a Monday bid.
Monday is a very tough day in construction and hold a bid on that day always has a lower turn out.
Responses to the above comments received:
Breakdown numbers are due Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 2:00p.m. (cst).
The boxes or package lines 1 - 3 have been deleted and re-entered and are now bid lines 4,5, and 6 so lump
sum amounts maybe inputted.
The remaining line item or response boxes are the optional line items that need to be bid and these are add
on numbers.
