10 Gbps Internet & DDoS Mitigation Services RFP

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the State University of New York, Division of Information Technology (herein after referred to as “SUNY”) to solicit proposals from qualified internet service providers to augment the connectivity to the internet for the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY 11794, as herein described in accordance with this SUNY RFP 25/26-034MC and exhibits and attachment attached hereto and made part of this RFP.

Stony Brook University seeks to strengthen its internet redundancy, performance, and security by establishing a new Internet Service Provider (ISP) connection in Syracuse, NY. This initiative ensures carrier and geographic diversity while providing advanced protection against cyber threats such as Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks. The university requires a robust 10 Gbps commodity internet service along with a comprehensive Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation service to ensure uninterrupted access to online resources.
