Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This is not a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The USAHCA – Medical Readiness Contracting Office Europe-USAHCA-MRCO-EUR is issuing the sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for Gas Chromatograph with Dual Electron Capture Detector. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) with business size standard 1,000 Employees. PSC code is 6630 – Chemical Analysis Instruments.

ALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

• Gas Chromatograph with dual Electron Capture Detector (GC-μECD) and dual liquid autosamplers with the ability to screen drinking water and food samples for a wide array of prominent and emergent organic pollutants simultaneously.



o Operation Workstation must be included with the equipment.



o Data acquisition and processing software to control instrument and process data must be included.



o System must run all software on Windows 11.



o System must have two split/split less injection ports.



o System must have two Electron Capture Detectors with EPCs.



o The instrument must have capability for simultaneous and independent detection of each ECD.



o Equipment must be able to operate on 230V/50 Hz.



• Two liquid autosamplers must be included with the equipment, including a tray for samples. o Auto-sampler tray with capacity of at least 150 samples and ability to cool samples ≤6C.



o Instrument must include two autosamplers with the capability for simultaneous dual column injection onto two inlets.



• The GC system must have an integrated compartment with capability for at least 2 columns with quick-connect fittings for facile switching between methods.



• The instrument must have capability for simultaneous and independent detection of each ECD.



• The system should come equipped with all necessary consumables to run methods EPA 505, 504.1, 515.4 and 553.2 (Split less liners, Dissimilar Pesticide columns, ferrules, seals, etc.)



• The system must come with a minimum of a one-year warranty.



• The system must come with operation and troubleshooting manuals.



• Instrument must be installed by a qualified service representative and properly verified for use.
