The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:

Gary Sports Complex Adult Softball Renovations IFB

Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to demolition, earthwork, utilities, storm drainage, concrete pedestrian paving, asphalt vehicular paving, concrete curb and gutter, concrete flume/valley gutter, wheelstops, accessible ramps, ornamental fence, fence columns, ornamental gate, post and cable fence, signage, landscape, turfgrass and decomposed granite at the San Marcos Gary Sports Complex. The estimated annual construction cost is $1,496,000.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on September 26, 2023, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Access instructions to the pre-bid video conference can be located at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement .

Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than October 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Instructions for access to the videoconference can be located at the top of the www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement site.

Award is scheduled for the December 5, 2023, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
