General Description
The GARCC (Greenville Area Recreation & Community Center) is seeking bids for
removal of old carpeting and installation of new carpeting in our upper-level office.

Bid Information
Any changes and/or addenda to this RFP will be posted on www.greenvillemi.org under
the bids tab. All questions regarding this RFP shall be directed to the principal contact
listed above.
Due Date
Bids are due 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 21, 2026
Submission of Bids
Please submit your sealed bids using the attached bid form, as well as all other requested
information. One copy of the proposal shall be delivered to:

Evaluation of Proposals
The City will review submitted bids and other relevant information. The City reserves the
right to accept or reject any response for any or no reason and to waive any minor
irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the City of Greenville.
Selection of Proposals
Once the winning proposal is selected, the City will draft an agreement. Upon bidder
approval and execution, it will be presented to Council for approval.
Product Specifications
* Old flooring will need to be removed and disposed of as part of this project.
* Approximately 475 sq feet of commercial-grade carpeting in a neutral gray color. If
you would like to take your own measurements, please call 616-754-9163 to make
an appointment to visit (900 E. Kent Rd) during office hours (M-F, 9am-5pm).
* A 1/8 vinyl wall base trim for the perimeter of the rooms (approximately 87ft).
* Two doorway transitions to VC tile.
* A quality sealer must be used on all carpet seams.
* Specifications for products and samples must be available upon request.
