This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation Notice/Synopsis in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR 15, following this announcement, on or about 15 calendar days from the publication of this announcement. The solicitation and if applicable, any amendments, shall be posted on SAM.gov. Responses will be due on or about 30 calendar days after the solicitation is posted, unless extended through an amendment.
Interested offerors must be active in SAM.gov at the date and time proposals are due to be eligible for award. Proposals submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered.
The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting offers for a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract type with an estimated magnitude for the base and options between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
Scope of Work: Mitigate potential embankment instability due to liquefaction. Addition of an outlet to release water from the reservoir. Modify the dam to successfully route the regulatory required flood event.
This requirement is being solicited as a 100% HubZone Set Aside
Inclement Weather – Seasonal Site Visit – Schedule for Friday, November 22, 2024, 10:30 AM, MST. (please see attachment for details)
Location: The location for the site visit is the Pine Valley Reservoir, which is searchable in Google maps,
Latitude 37.3788990 degrees, Longitude -113.4749823 degrees
Driving directions: From Central, Utah head east on Pine Valley Highway for 7.7 miles, turn left onto Main Street and follow for 1.6 miles, continue on Pine Valley Recreation Area Road for 0.8 miles. We’ll meet in the reservoir parking lot.
